8. Search Engines: Paid And Organic And How To Maximise Both
Continuing from where I stopped yesterday, let us talk about Paid and Organic Results on the websites.
When you type a specific keyword into the search bar, results appear from different websites and these are either paid or organic. I'm certain you'd like to explore the organic.
Let's go.
First things first, Organic Results are simply the most relevant results you don't have to pay a dime for before accessing the already provided content you're looking for as a searcher.
Paid results on the other hand are content or most relevant information that appear alongside organic content. Like the name implies, it is paid so they come out as ads.
Maximising Organic Results
If you really want to get the most of organic search on the Internet, one thing you must invest in is the time you use to create relevant content with the exact keywords your customer is searching on.
The general job of search engines is to help searchers on the Internet find precisely what they're looking for. As the owner of a business that's on the Internet who is hoping customers find you, your duty is to help the search engines make the decision of recommending your site to people VERY FAST.
The search engine will literally recommend your site to active searchers as the most relevant and best option on a topic or a niche when you have helped it make that decision by optimising your website.
It's called Search Engine Optimisation also known as SEO. The best way to do organic SEO for organic results is through QUALITY CONTENT. Good SEO entails helping a search engine find your site and then go ahead to understand it.
1. You have to create original, good, relevant and specific content on your website. This is while bearing in mind your customers and the language they speak everyday in order to attach the most relevant keywords and get their attention faster.
2. Relevance: You have to make sure that your great and quality content is actually relevant to what your business is about. If you sell Coffee and have great content about healthy living based on fruit and vegetables, you're confusing the search engine that is supposed to be helping your customers find you.
Search Engine Paid Advertising AKA Search Engine Marketing is different but just a tad. How? It's simple.
Apart from the fact that it is PAID, it is determined by two things.
1. Bidding
2. Quality.
The bidding has to do with who paid the higher price for every web content their customer would want to see. The higher the price of the the advertising, the higher it will be recommended by the search engine. This is called Ranking.
But take a second look. Quality content cannot be compromised. Infact, if you have more money to advertise and your web content is shit, your web will be overlooked.
Remember. People are looking to have their problems solved. And that's exactly what you should have in mind when you're creating content; from posts to pictures and media generally, Be Helpful on your website.
Be helpful. It will definitely help make your business more prominent on the net.
Let's continue tomorrow, bestie.
Goodnight.
