9. Two Magic Words That Explode Sales On The Internet.
Hey,
Hope you had a good day? I know I did.
I went through nine lessons today so you can be sure I learned a lot. From SEM to SEO, to social media marketing to local search marketing.... they were quite a number. But two things form the body of this post...
1. Quality.
2. Relevance.
If you've been following the posts I've been making for some time now, you already know that your website should have great content. Yes. Everything I'll be telling you henceforth is centered on Content.
If your website has less than quality AND relevant content on it, make sure you read this post to the very end.
Everytime you want to input a blog post, a picture, a tag, etc on your website, ask yourself these questions.
Is this relevant to those looking for it?
Is it qualitative enough?
Any searcher that's looking for your page on the search engine usually puts words they consider relevant to what they are looking for. For example, if I'm looking for a coffee shop around me (this is called Local searching by the way)
I'll simply type "Coffee shop around me" in the search engine. And the search engine will bring out the results, either paid or organic of what is most RELEVANT. The top post will probably have "coffee shop" in it, matching the exact keywords in the search bar.
Relevance of your content to what your searchers are looking for is SO IMPORTANT. If you employ paid advertising on the search engine and your content isn't relevant to the headline of the web page found by the search engine, there's the possibility that your ad won't even be displayed.
That is how important it is for your content to be relevant to the keywords people are typing in and searching for, in the niche your business is in.
The second thing is Quality. Let me explain how important Quality is. Let's say you have a webpage and want to employ paid advertising to publicise your web content,
If your content isn't original, unique and engaging enough, or HELPFUL especially to the audience you're looking to get your products or services,
Let's further assume that your pay per click cost 2 pounds and someone else's cost 50 pence, there's every chance that the guy who has fantastic plus helpful and relevant content in addition to their cost for advertising will rank higher than your really expensive one.
It's not magic.
Qualitative content is really what you need to become trusted on the web and it doesn't matter where you use it. It always yields the same amazing results.
If you want to become the number one authority in any niche you have chosen, the best way to stand out is original, unique and memorable content.
How? I'll tell you.
1. Speak in the language of your audience. Use an everyday tone.
2. Don't be salesy. Nobody likes being sold to.
3. Be EXTREMELY HELPFUL. Procure solutions even before recommending something better that'll alleviate your audience's problems.
4. Make sure that your content is relevant.
I think I'm enjoying the whole dynamics to creating helpful content. But fingers crossed, bestie.
I'll be back tomorrow.
Goodnight.
