3. I Argued With Google Course Creators Today.
I was taking a test for the lesson I just learned and I couldn't get past it for close to 5 minutes or even more. I remember being in the kitchen doing the dishes as I wondered why I failed it several times before getting it.
I thought they made a mistake in the answers.
I still think they made a mistake in the answer.
Okay the problem question was this scenario.
A business has several touchpoints where they come in contact with their customers, through their customer's journey yeah? And in this particular business, the feedback was two things;
1. The Navigation was shit.
2. Difficulty in locating the Contact Information of the business.
They asked what medium through which those information could be made easier and readily accessible to the customers.
And I thought there were three possible answers to the question....
• The Website (obviously)
• Social Media (Instagram)
• Email Marketing/List.
The last option is out of it.
Tell me why these people said "Nahhh Vivian. You're wrong ".
That It's only through the website and email. I think NOT and here's why.
We had earlier agreed (they and I) that people could contact a business through their app without necessarily needing to go through their website because of the usefulness of mobile devices and apps these days.
Why is it so difficult to believe now that if they had a problem with contacting a business, that the comment section or DM of a social media app such as Instagram will be a great touchpoint/option?
As I washed the plates I'd earlier used to feed my grandmom, I came to the stauch belief that I am right. Maybe I need to speak with the course creators, innit?
Anyway, tomorrow, I'll tell you exactly how to stand out from the crowd in your business.
Goodnight bestie.
